Title: Weird As It Isn't
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: PG
Series: Not So Imaginary
Warnings: um..slash?
Notes: The end. Except for the epilogue. Which I haven't even started. I was hoping this part would work out and I think it did. I hope y'all like it.

'You'll note that I took out the ones you don't like,' Rodney stated proudly, gesturing to the box. 'I knew you wouldn't mind because you give them to me anyway.' )

Warnings: Ha!
Series: NSI series, people.

Title: Untitled (or the time John wanted to make a decision but Rodney beat him to it weeks ago)
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: PG
Warnings: One day I'll actually have something to warn you about, and no one will know because I don't write things to be warned about so no one looks here.
Spoilers: NSI series, yes. Here you go.
Notes: I've wanted to do Ronon and Teyla finding out for a while now, because they're team, damn it, and John would want them to know. This is honestly how I expected it to happen, too. Surprised the heck out of me that it worked. All rambling contained within aside, anyway.
Notes2: I had this saved under the name 'confess' but really, that made it sound too serious. Which it's not, I don't think. Suggestions wouldn't be a bad thing, because having something untitled twitches me.
Notes3(last one, I promise): Is anyone a decent beta? Or know one? The next story I've got, it's still in-progress right now but I hope to have it done over the weekend, I've been having trouble keeping my tenses in line. I wrote it all in separate pieces and put them together and I'm worried about the flow. I just need someone with fresh eyes to give it a sort-of once-over.

Later, standing in one of the rec rooms and waving a yellow sticky-note at Ronon and Teyla, Rodney didn't remember having a conversation with John at all. )

Title: Shoebox
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: PG
Warnings: Spoilers for 'McKay and Mrs. Miller'
Notes: I can't write long stories. I tried. I had to cut it up because I suck at transition scenes. There are a few more of certain scenes I wanted to write and those will come as I am finally pleased with them. My use of tenses needs work.
Notes2: Read these first! Not So Imaginary.

Him being here now was Rodney's fault. )

Title: Boundaries: Sleeping
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: G, oh, so G
Warnings: G!
Spoilers: For the Not So Imaginary series. There might be canon references up to 308 that I don't realize I'm putting in there, but nothing after. I don't know if I'm going to acknowledge the later eps yet for it. Heh.
Notes: This isn't either of the pieces I talked about doing, but it was something I wanted in one of them. It didn't fit very well where I was trying to put it so I made it into its own story. This is set after the series.

They'd stretch out on his bed and watch the movie on his laptop, and somewhere near the end John always ended up asleep with his head back against the headboard, or tilted forward, or on Rodney's shoulder. )

Title: Here
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: PG
Warnings: Wee bit of swearing.
Spoilers: None.
Notes: This is the conclusion of the Not So Imaginary series. Previous parts should really be read unless you like being confused because, really, it's more fun that way. So find your way to Not Your Average Imaginary Friend, One Hell of A Coincedence, and Not Quite on the Same Page. I hope you enjoy.

There was dancing and alcohol, and John had always strangely been just a bit of a cheap drunk. )

Title: Not Quite on the Same Page
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: PG
Warnings: Swearing, a bit.
Spoilers: For the last two stories below and a slight reference to McKay and Mrs. Miller. Pretty sure that's all. EDIT: And Epiphany. Woops.
Notes: This is the third part of what frighteningly enough became a series. It would be a wise decision to read Not Your Average Imaginary Friend and One Hell of A Coincedence

Rodney just stood there, his own eyes unfocused, then blinked rapidly and fixed his gaze on John, expression surprised. 'Oh,' he breathed, fingers clenching and unclenching around the dormant device. 'It worked. Good, that's...' His knees buckled and John leapt forward, arms going around his friend's middle to keep him up. )

Title: One Hell of A Coincidence
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: PG
Warnings: It's a sequel, and we all know how those are.
Spoilers: Some of the text is from Rising! But it's Pre-Atlantis.
Notes: I wanted to keep this short, otherwise I'd be going novel on you lot and it'd never get done. There might be another, because seriously, Rodney should know. It's not fair if Rodney doesn't know. So yes, by popular demand, before I play the chicken shit and click 'x'.

It was real and here and he wasn't just some lonely kid that had lived in his own imagination because the other children hadn't liked him. )

Title: Not Your Average Imaginary Friend
Author: R. Tom Mato
Rating: G
Warnings: Um, crackish? And I suppose it would be labeled "kid!fic."
Spoilers: A few specific ones for McKay, but nothing past the first season. Just sort of your basic knowledge.
Notes: I read a drabble about a John Sheppard that preferred to play by himself when he was younger, not caring that all the other kids thought he was a total freak. Then I skimmed the comments, because seeing what others have to say is interesting, and someone mentioned likening John to Calvin and having Rodney as "Hobbes." This is not exactly like that, or even close, though the image of Rodney hanging upside down from a tree for going after a tuna fish sandwhich is probably the best thing I've seen all day. This was supposed to be just a summary for the fic I was really writing, but it ran away and grew into a fic all its own.
Note 2: This can be taken two ways and you'll see why by the end. I don't have either way as a definite in my head though.

John had screamed after she had to forcibly drag him away from the sink where he was shoving her lemon cookies one by one down the garbage disposal. )
